ATAR Prediction Disclaimer
Updated 2 November 2026.
This is an independent scenario calculator. Its output is an unofficial estimate, not an achieved result, an official ATAR or a guarantee of university admission.
What the number means
SATAC determines official tertiary admission rankings for SACE and NTCET students. A SACE letter grade cannot determine an exact SATAC scaled score. Grade mode uses the same editable illustrative score assumptions for every subject; subject-specific scaling is not modelled.
Scaled-score mode uses your supplied scores. Both modes use a historical 2025 aggregate conversion table. Cohort data changes each year. SATAC cautions that historical tables cannot reliably predict future ATARs and does not recommend online prediction tools.
Eligibility and admission
This implementation supports distinct 20-credit TAS subjects and 10-credit AIF. It does not determine SACE completion, subject restrictions, valid pairs, recognised studies, VET or other 10-credit subject contributions. Subject eligibility, course prerequisites and admission rules can change. University selection ranks may include adjustments and differ from an ATAR.
Discuss important decisions with your school and consult SATAC’s ATAR information, the SACE Board and the university’s current course requirements.
